I’m an RV freak, everyone around here knows it. But I also really dig off-road stuff and when I see a motorhome that can go where these big beasts can travel I’m completely in awe. It’s one thing to take your RV out to the dunes or Johnson Valley or something. You know, where you can drive on hard pack to the edge of the action and then setup camp so you can ride around on your 4-wheelers or in your Razor. But it is another thing all together when you can take your RV around the world and spend as much time as humanly possible on dirt or sand or whatever. These are full tilt expedition capable rigs that are closer to military spec than civilian is many cases. Point it somewhere and these suckers are going to get there.

Of course it wouldn’t be fun to do any of this adventuring in something this big, if there aren’t some creature comforts and these big beasts just might surprise you on that front. Watch this cool How It’s Made style documentary on building these giant machines and you’ll know what we’re talking about. Think bitchin luxury RV meets Paris Dakar truck. What could possibly be cooler?
