This 1977 Dodge StreetVan Will Make Everyone Want A Custom Van Again.

This 1977 Dodge StreetVan Will Make Everyone Want A Custom Van Again.

I’ve been a Van Fan for a long time, and the 1970’s style custom vans are certainly on the list of what I think is cool. This 1977 Dodge Van is owned by Mark Coates, and he’s pretty well nailed it on the look with this one. Holley shot a cool video with Mark and the van while he was at Holley’s Moparty in Bowling Green Kentucky, and they weren’t the only ones checking it out all weekend long. I love this thing. I’d drive the snot out of it. Wouldn’t you?

Custom vans are one of those things that everyone loves, but not everyone would want to own. They seem to put smiles on everyone’s face, even if it is sometimes because of the laughter associated with them. But that’s okay because there is something about vans that just bring great reactions from folks. Check out Mark’s ride and see what you think. Also, would you build something like it?

Video Description:

Description: Mark Coates’ 1977 Dodge StreetVan was one of the more eye-catching vehicles parked at Holley MoParty 2021. After tossing the idea of a 1970s van build around for years with his wife, this rare special-edition van became the canvas that brought their plans into reality. And what do they plan to do with it? “Drive the wheels off of it,” Mark says. That’s how it’s done!

Nice build. Very 70s. I’ve never have been into vans though. But that’s the thing about the car hobby. Build what you like the way you like it.
