All the credit for this blog item goes to BangShift forum member Tardis454 who, for some unknown reason, went scouring the web to find all of the neat Dodge C and D series trucks he could find. After completing his search he compiled them into a jaw dropping list in the BangShift forum section and we’ve all been drooling over it since. There’s everything from car haulers to pickup trucks with swapped Cummins diesel engines here. Old Dodge trucks are some of our favorites because they are certainly less prevalent than similar sized GM and Ford trucks, they have a style all their own, and they have neat engines like Poly headed 318s, 413 wedges, etc.
Two of our favorites are pictured below, but there are almost 20 simply awesome candidates for us to blow our retirement savings on. The big transporter at the bottom of the page is a true show stopper and it’ll be worth more after next weekend when Don Prudhomme sells his pair of smaller but similar haulers at the Barrett-Jackson auction. Hey, buy that thing now so you can get in before the “car hauler hysteria” kicks in and drives the price through the moon.

I will never forget traveling in my dads D-300 ramp truck all over the country in the 1970’s. Even having to put a new camshaft in the engine at Union Grove , WI in the pits just to make it back home!
I have a c/d 700 that I use on the farm. Maybe I need to use it for a car hauler instead.
