TS Performance Outlaw Diesel Show And Shine: The First Gallery Of The Biggest And Brightest From The Field

If you think that diesel trucks can’t work a show and shine course, then it is time to come out from underneath your rock and take a look at what is around. Diesel trucks are big, chromed, and in the right hands can make a statement. We know what we like when we see it…older trucks with modern engine and running gear swaps, built-to-the-hilt work trucks that got a bath and a wax job, and seriously left field finds like this 7.3L PowerStroke-equipped Econoline get our minds going. The show and shine field in Franklin had plenty of diesel goodness to look over and check out, and at many trucks owners and friends were kicking back and having a good ol’ time. Check out some of our finds!

What’s with diesel guys and the weird offset wheels. I don’t know how they keep paint on their truck with that much tire hanging out past the wheel wells.

I just don’t get the big wheels/big lift/ tiny super-strecthed tires look. Or running huge spacers. At least there weren’t any squatters shown (trucks lowered in the back. Yes, that’s a thing.)

I think it stems from the diesel truck pullers who have 14-16″ tires on all four corners and staggered so each have their own fresh patch of dirt to grab. I don’t really like it myself.

I’m glad I’m not the first to post in here. The best-looking ride there is the unassuming 70s F-series with the throwback western mirrors. Most of the rest – do we call them ‘diesel donk’…? Just because it’s got loads of torque doesn’t mean it needs to be dressed like a circus clown to get attention.

I can only hope that most of these guys spent all their money on performance parts and are saving up for wheels and tires

Everyone’s a critic lol a lot of these trucks belong to my friends. What do you want people to run on their trucks 16″ steel wheels? Big wheels and lots of offset isn’t just in the diesel community. People run them cause they look good. And I can assure you none of them are concerned with your opinions.
