These are available from a guy I met at the track back in my racing days named Dan Parker. He's totally blind as a result of a track accident - he drove Pro Stock cars. He makes his living as a machinist - yes, you read that right. Go to and you can find this as well as other items he makes. Let me add that he's also the world's fastest blind driver, IIRC, somewhere over 200 MPH. Yes, I'm serious - look it up.

Dan calls this a Bob Knob (I don't know the story behind the name). Evidently he'd heard folks gripe about messing with the end of the jack handle to lower the jack and as we all know it's difficult to slowly lower the jack when you need that.

He found a source for the raw castings and does all the matching himself.

Two pics of the knob as it comes to you. Note that there's a crosscut for the ears (rollin) of the relief valve as well as a set screw to tighten it onto the relief valve shaft. It installs in seconds with an Allen key.
