Re: German Shop Converts UPS Truck into a Hot Rod
That surely doesn't sound like the UPS truck that delivers stuff to my house! Will UPS convert their entire fleet into vans like this for quicker delivery time? Not lame at all, would make a great tow vehicle.

neat, they got the wrong headers and had to cut the frame away....
A friend used to drive a big brown truck, he was happy when they swapped a 4.3 in his to replace the 292. He sure put a lot of miles on that truck....found a lot of neat old cars out in the boonies on his route, too!

Re: German Shop Converts UPS Truck into a Hot Rod
that's awesome!!!!
would make a killer tow vehicle, room for tools or sleeping in the back...
imagine one of those with a 1000hp, 2000 ft-lb Cummins in it though. Parish needs to build one of these, there are tons of those bodystyles in the junkyards around here... hmmmmwww.realtuners.com - catch the RealTuners Radio Podcast on Youtube, Facebook, iTunes, and anywhere else podcasts are distributed!

Re: German Shop Converts UPS Truck into a Hot Rod
Remember a few years ago they did a few commercials with a UPS truck running around a NASCAR track? One was a dad and his kid getting blown in the air from the breeze as the truck races by. Another was a pit stop, the crewman spins 10 lugs off, pulls the outside tire, then sees the 10 inner Budd wheel nuts.

Big Caddy motor with some hairdryers would be cool! Add a set of Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR Radials and go!
A modern diesel would be more practical though. Wonder what you could get the 60' times down to? ;D :o

Bout time.
Iwas always waiting for someone here to do it with one.
Chop the top,get it sectioned, make her go.
Or...
Put a glass body on a Craftsman series truck and have it as the pace
or something...
