I thought it was only 100

and from what I heard, Chrysler ships them to Egypt and other places, and these jeeps are straight from the Toledo factory, just as they would be sent to Egypt. The reason they don't come with an engine is because AEV doesn't want to be the manufacture of record or something legal like that. They just come set up for either the 5.7 Hemi or a 2.8 diesel.

Is that number all they think they could sell? I bet that number would soar if they put the standard drivetrain from the other CJ's.

It's probably all they could put out each year, whether the restrictions are legal, manufacturing capacity, or that's all they can get from Chrysler, I don't know.

One of these would be fun with a 4BT Cummins in it.

No plans for the truck version at this time.

I'm sure the 120 was what they were able to get. I bet they sell out in less than a week

except for the diesel you can build a 4 door version with the mopar parts catalog. I would like a 2 door with a 6.1 l hemi please

The J8 would kick the shit out of the HMMWV any day of the week, except cargo. That overrated '83 Blazer diesel can't get out of it's own way, weighs way to damn much, and is actually painful for people my size to drive (the footwells are cramped and narrow as all hell...who was the genius who designed that POS?!)
