Correct me if I'm wrong, but this was NEVER on the salt. I think it's the old English Leather sponsored dragstrip racer that Craig ran for awhile, and then repainted it as we now see it for the car show circuit.
I am familiar with the owner, and told him several times that is not a true salt racer - but since all he knows about is pre-war Bentleys, he doesn't listen to me. The guy has a terrific car museum, but this car doesn't fit in with all the old mostly Euro motor cars he owns.
