Re: With him or At Him?
AT. Really,I was going along WITH him till the inside shots. The only FAIL on the outside for me was the non period radiator. For me it needs a 30's era grill shell from a car, truck, or tractor. The latter could go upinto the early 50's . Inside I'll give him best use of speed limit signs , but where he totally lost me was on the toilet motif .

I'm too busy looking for a barf bag to laugh.
This "pile" might "float" if there was a consistent theme. But what is the theme? Heating & Air? Plumbing? Stolen road signs?
It's just an incoherent mishmash as it sits.
Maybe if he painted it "Home Depot Orange" or "Lowe's Blue" he could mix the home improvement genres. . . .
On the other hand, he made you look, which seems to be about 80% of the goal of modern hot rodding in general and rat rodding in particular. There were undoubtedly a lot of builders who spent a lot more and garnered less attention. I suppose that moves him up to the "head" of the class . . . .

Re: With him or At Him?
well - I admire his consistant use of plumbing stuff throughout the rig - and the pressure gauge on the heater line is an interesting touch. The interior though - not so much.
I still don't understand how all these guys get away with running open exhaust - if I was going to make zoomies out of plumbing parts - I'd still put "flappers" on the end of the pipes....
what does this guy do if it rains?
can you spell hydrolock? :oThere's always something new to learn.
