Logical step...it's sold in Middle Eastern markets as the Caprice, and the previous iterations looked damn good.
        Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."

Bob Lutz is precisely the wrong person at the wrong time, an example of exactly what is wrong with the old boy thinking permeating Detroit to this day. Take your retirement and get your fishing pole Lutz, more of the same at GM won't cut it anymore.

Why not dig up John DeLorean, who's best-known contribution to Pontiac was the GTO and call it Weekend at John's, take his body on tour to burned out GM dealers to explain how to build muscle cars again.

That Delaware factory is dead at the end of the month.

Perhaps they'll bring the production back onshore to sell them as cop cars .... most government fleets can only buy foreign if there is no comparable product (don't get me started on them buy toyotas).... I do know that the chevelle would need to be built in whatever plant that they built them in before - which is the same deal that was made between GM and the union regarding the the camaro when GM killed it. Was a wise bet on the union's part.
