    Yes. The bore spacing is sooo close they will bolt on. The pushrods match the LS valve and rocker spacing. The one issue though on earlier LS is the valve orientation doesn't match the Ford cam. However on the current generation of the LS, GM fixed that issue so now the valve layout matches the Ford cam so no special cam blank is needed. There was a LS build in Hot Rod where a LS short block was fitted with aftermarket Ford hemi heads https://www.hotrod.com/articles/hemi...eal-kicks-ass/

    GM sells a front cover to allow a mechanical distributor and fuel pump. Guess what? It uses a Ford distributor and fuel pump. The LS seems to have a lot in common with the Windsor apparently I found on a Google search Robert Yates was contracted by GM in development of the LS.
