Man that was smooth. If you didn't know better you would think he wasn't even moving. It was smoother than my 70mph ride to work in my Pontiac.

That's unbelievable! Did you notice the car's radio? He started his run at 1:43 pm and shut the car off at 1:44 pm, then pulled the chute. That's cool!

When I showed Ed the video this morning, even he was surprised by how smooth he was. This car has been raced at Bonneville for 15 years, but is a stock bodied C4. They are not known for being the most stable platform at such speeds, but Ed's is weighted and sorted real well. Plus, the salt is sooooo smooth you wouldn't believe it. These are the best salt conditions in the history of ever. No matter what the conditions, the fact that Ed's procedure is so perfect, and his driving is so smooth is a testament to his driving skill. Major kudos to Ed.
