Copart picks up and acutions most of all the total loss wrecked vehicles from insurance companies here in CA and they sell pretty much anything on consinment they do it online and sell all over the world mostly to parts dealers, but some cars that where deemed total losses end up getting fixed and re-sold.

That's cool - I have a friend that manages a big Copart yard in south Texas. It's a good company from all I can gather. They run a tight ship and move those busted up cars on to a better life. The Copart yard here move quite a few cars and you see them heading west for El Paso every day. The buyers come in a van, 10-12 of them. Each one buys two cars, fixes at least one, ties on the second and go west young mechanic. They must be hellacious mechanics because they buy two wrecks and that's their only way back home. They tag team down the highway, 5-10 in a group.

"We visited Copart headquarters in July and were amazed by the technology that allows buyers from all over the world to bid on an extensive inventory of more than 50,000 vehicles each day."

eh, the bernsteins were amazed by a computer?

Sounds like Suzy Arnold (his PR rep) getting creative with the release.

I work for an Adesa Auto auction in Lansing, Mi.

This kinda pisses me off a little,
cause my GM said they won't do any kind
              of sponsorship of any kind.

              Then Blowparts does it. >

              I call foul!!!
