I try not to make fun of cars backfiring. Me and 20 college buddies had a car we bought for $50 that had a broken exhaust pipe. If we over revved it; it would back fire when the clutch was pushed. The more the revs, the louder the backfire. That's how we got caught Bumper Skiing. The cops following sounds of gun fire until they found us.
