Too bad the car has already been butchered. Not a lot of sources out there for all the parts needed to put that one back together.

It's already been stripped, so there's nothing worth saving. Derby guys are the best source around for spare parts if you're restoring a '64 to '66 Imperial, but you want to start with a car that is nearly complete. This isn't a Mustang and you can't order a complete interior from Year One. Because they are so rare and there is no collector interest, nothing is reproduced -- you get original or you make it yourself. I'm working on a '66 LeBaron, 1 of 1878 produced. If you have uncommon options like dual A/C or AM/FM radio the parts may as well be made of unobtainium. Not for the faint of heart.

        Hi,
Imperials are the HOLY GRAIL of demolition derby vehicles. They are banned in many derbies. Their perimeter frame makes them almost indestructble.

          It's still good for body parts . . .

And it would make a crazy-wild plus-sized Gasser (who needs windows or chrome trim for that?)

and the reason why the number plate on the roof is bent and the trunk looks the way it does, that was hitting a 74 impala so hard I went under the chevy from hitting it so hard the rear end housing was on the roof of the car, the frame rails from the chevy did that to the trunk

Supposedly that car is the only kryptonite for the Imperials.

              Bad ass!
