I remember a lot of the older ads, though not this particular one. I'm pretty sure this was the result of early experiments with LSD. Doesn't seem like they were "driving home the message" like current ads.

antmnte - times were better then - IF you were white and middle class or higher. As FDR said, "The good old days are today, tomorrow".

That very much reminded me of those late 50's "space" TV shows along with some of the early 60's "Lounge" music sprinkled all over for fun !!

It just made me want to go to the snack bar for a jumbo Tub-O-Popcorn and a bladder-busting soda . . . .

All of those twirling Chevys reminded me of the time I went "Dukes of Hazzard" in a '63 Bel-Air . . . for a few seconds, the ride really was "jet smooth."
