Re: Connecticut Junkyard Owner in Hot Water

Buy a big tire shredder, make a contract with a local asphalt company and make money in the clean up. I knew a guy who's buisness it was to shred tires and haul them off. Made money on both ends, was paid to shred them and an asphalt company paid him for the shredded remains.
    Escaped on a technicality.

the nutmeg state moves slow - in NY they seize your property and sell it totheir buddys for peanuts if you miss one year of taxes
        usually elderly people
if it was my property and some enviromentalists visit for a looksie - they best be armed with a warrant and troopers

Tire shredding is super energy-intensive...discarded tires have been a problem forever.
