A truly amazing story. The odds of you getting that thing back are just sky high, so glad that you were able to.

Luck? Hell, you have FATE on your side. You passed the luck off ramp about 500 miles ago.

Re: 1966 Buick Funny Car Returns Home

Hey guys...haven't updated in awhile, been busy and it's been raining something fierce but there's been so much interest in Ingenue I rolled her out last wknd to snap these.

Speed City Resin ( www.speedcityresin.com ) has developed a '67 Buick Skylark GS400 body (the first one ever built) and is offering it for sale.I have authorized Keven @ Whoopie Kat Decals ( www.whoopiekatdecals.com ) to make the lettering so you too can build your own 1:18 scale version of Ingenue...!

Anyhow's,here's some pics I staged with my wife in the car,I told her this was how Shirley Muldowney got her start,lol...

Haven't really done much more with her but I may have some very exciting news to report so stay tuned...! ;D

                              Just received these yesterday...

...from the previous owner showing the as-found condition of Ingenue and getting her ready for paint,I believe this was in MI:

                              And of course,my all-time favorite!

                                Here's some pics I shot of dad's last AA/GD slingshot,circa 1968...

It's hanging up on the wall of dad's shop, car was completed right after the F/C in 1968 and was powered by a 8:71-blown Chrysler Hemi on pump Sunoco 260.Mainly based out of the east coast, this car did travel to all the major events of the day, both NHRA & AHRA...car ran in the low to mid 7's @ 210mph:

Dad's says the Plymouth rear end was the hot ticket of the day:
