Hey! The Cimarron was a really nice Cavalier. Let's not forget why GM made those things in the first place-it wasn't because they wanted to or thought it was a good idea.

In 1984 all Cadillacs were still proper full-size RWD V8 cars(as they should be)

Except for the El Dorodo and Seville. They were FWD.

Most of the caddys I've seen of the era, were jokes of cars.

I still do not see how Toyota has anything to do with this discussion? I don't drink any koolaid.

                        You 2 should get a room...LMFAO

The Cimmaron WAS a really nice Cavalier...hell, I've even seen a few manual-trans Cimmarons.

Still, the 2.0 was a leaking, oil-burning POS that is STILL a smear on the Cadillac name.

Now, I *might* find one interesting if a drivetrain from a Cobalt SS was stuffed up under the front........nah.

Marketing genius. Add a nice stereo, AC and leather(like) seating surfaces and jack the price $10 grand over a Cavalier. People will come running because it's a Caddy.

On another note. What the hell does "Leather Seating Surfaces" mean? It's only leather where your ass is. The rest of the seat is covered in genuine imitation full grain vinyl.
