mayfield had the cops..yes he walked into the cops and ASKED to be tested..
they did this 5 times between the two nascar test..
now,, think for a minute..
no one that is on that drug. will walk into the cops and asked to be tested and if he was use'n he'd have a court date for fail'n the cops test..
nascar is screwed...
mayfield is doing everything he has to...
he can't afford a laywer so ,to get a laywer he has to sell everything..

not everyone thinks long term.. at his age. you don't think of die'n or getting hurt.. racers that do, don't race hard..
they'll be on the track but not racing hard..
d/g how much did you set aside for if and when you got let go from spectra????????
i'll go out on a lim. that mayfield like most racers has a insurance policy for live and disability..
but that be stupid of him. right d/g..
I'm sure his accountant knows how to protect mayfields family better than you do..


people are so surprised when news came out that he's being sued by the engine guy,this guy, that guy..
have no idea on ,how you run a limited budget team..
you lease the engines under contract..
yes the engine guy wasn't getting payed.. mayfield wasn't alowed to make a living.. and under contract you have to pay anyways.. this is why alot of teams. HAVE to start and park..
only way to stay afoat..
there is only a hand full of drivers with a ton of money.. and none of those are driver /owners
they have, zero money.. steward has money. but when the team isn't doing so hot.. and he has to pull funds from his own accounts to get through a dryspell, he'll have no money either..
robbie Gordon has no extra cash.. as he puts it all into his teams, be it nascar ,or offroad...
people that think these guys are rolling in money.. need to read up..
ricky rudd, didn't even have the money to run the team with the equipment needed to get a win or top 5's and is why he went racing for some one again..
it isn't easy.. being an owner/driver and is why most don't do it..

Yeah, cuz it seems smart to believe "the courts" versus that dumb and inconclusive urinalysis stuff

Well it seems that Nascar's tests say he's a druggie, but his tests say he's clean. Maybe all this could be cleared up by an independent lab chosen by the courts?

I think the courts will take their county test lab's outcome..
and as seen as there are 5 test with the same outcome and mayfield wasn't arrested..
