I've got to admit that I became enamored with "blacked out" hoods on the 1964 version of the Ford GT . . .



(Okay it was really the Opel Manta Rallye that sparked it,



but "Ford GT" sounds a lot better, doesn't it).

But I didn't expect that look to be as bitchin as it is on that gassered-up '61 Chevrolet in the lead shot!
