This would be a fun "prank" gift for all you your appliance motoring and "tuner" import friends . . . just to taunt them with how a "real engine" sounds. ;D

BTW, would it be loud enough to cover up the faux turbo exhaust whistle? ???

The present version of SoundRacer is not developed for hybrid or electrical cars.

Oh damn, I was hoping to improve the driving experience whenever I get stuck in those eco-yuppie POS at work.

                    Speedy's secret shame:

My neighbor has one of those V8 electric hybrid GM SUVs . . . and I like the sound of it zipping around the neighborhood on Willie Wiredhand power. Of course most of the time I'm imagining swapping an Electro-Hydramatic transmission, computer and battery pack into a turbocharged 460-powered vintage Ford . . . . You could whir up to some "bolt-on" cruiser "mark", goad 'em into a race, and when they heard the BBF fire up, it'd be too late!

And all those Reddy Kilowatt gizmos would make living with an 8+ liter engine on the street a lot more economical. Just imagine how much "regenerative braking" you'd have hauling it down from 150+. ;D

With a pair of 60-kilowatt electric motors to augment the low end torque (~ 160 h.p.!), you could probably run a lot more cam on the street.

Too bad these "eco-yuppie" rigs are too new for the JY . . . .
