Looks like a cool event, I might even be interested in it. But why in the world would they schedule it the same weekend as the March Meet??? That just doesn't make sense.

For the most part, these two events do not cross-pollinate.
And LSR is about participation for the most part, seeing as how grandstands are lacking on the dry lakes.
