Re: Carnage Video: Smashing a Ford Aspire at 650 MPH
I REALLY love being retired. But I would come out of retirement in a heartbeat to work on that show. These guys have the coolest job, not just on the planet, but EVER in the history of mankind. Assuming that they came up with the concept for the show they are geniuses! It's up to us to keep on sending in the myths to be busted.

And they found people to be on the show that just works. Timewarp has interesting subject matter but seems harder to watch because the hosts just aren't interesting.
I can't look at work, but have you seen when they went back to the rocket sled site with the plow of doom to cut a car in half? (Unfortunately wasn't an Eagle ;D)Escaped on a technicality.

This is the Eagle 'split'..... They have also actually really for sur absolutley split a REAL car in two. I saw it. Can't find the vid on thier website though or it would be here. It is the same rocket rig but with a blade attached.... and it is awsome. The high speed camera shots are the shit. Good sh!t Brian. :D
Found it.

Re: Carnage Video: Smashing a Ford Aspire at 650 MPH
Damn. The Aspire was not smashed..it was vaporized. As the sled starts breaking it up you see the red paint kind of "mist" into the air, creating the shape of the car that was...that's cool.Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!
"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."
