Re: Carnage Video: High Flying Sprint Car Wreck
a very wise sprint car racer/owner told me this while in the pits at the famed Manzanita Speedway -" Driving a sprint car its not a matter if you're going to flip and crash, its a matter of when"Charles W - BS Photographer at large

Re: Carnage Video: High Flying Sprint Car Wreck
As sprint car crashes go, that one was kinda on the ho-hum side.
However, the gyrations that sprinters make in really fast-moving action boggle the mind.
In fact, there used to be a mathmetician who wrote for "Racecar Engineering" that penned some articles exploring the tortured physics of winged sprintcar crashes.Act your age, not your shoe size. - Prince

Re: Carnage Video: High Flying Sprint Car Wreck
Whatever floats your boats, guys. I feel that winged sprints (both 360 and 410) are the ultimate roundy-round experience. I haven't watched a NASCRAP race in years, but I have been to numerous sprint car races including WoO. These guys can drive! No fenders to "Earnhardt" somebody into the wall and a power to weight ratio that is crazy!
RonIt's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.
