Too bad none of them are Firebirds, or GTO's or Catalina's...

Last I checked, there's only one G8 GXP left on dealer lots. It's probably gone by now.

I doubt that they are making money on these, that was the reason GM and Chrysler got to where they were in the spring. You can't run a company and make money while "giving" your product away at below cost. In fact thats just the ticket to lose billions of dollars per year.

My wife's family owned and ran "Livery Stable Chevrolet" in Angels Camp, Ca for over Ten years. The manufacture cost for them to buy was always several thousand less then the MSRP. That's why it's a Suggested price.

these days there are too many hands out in gross profit , salesmen don't make much until you throw volume or used cars in the mix , that is why used cars never have sticker prices on them , the salesman sets the price
plus the markup is not as high as it used to be
pop bought a new montana van in the great 2005 fire sale
sticker was 33k , invoice was 27k and he paid 25k

That picture is in poor taste. Don't turn this site into another Yellow Bullet. Please replace it with something more relevant to the story.

Yep, it sounds like you're of the mentality and IQ that would blend in very well at Yellow Bullet.
