As I grew up in the area and have been going to what's now called "The Henry Ford" since - oh - 1955 or so, this is a really cool thing to me. I've wanted to see under the hoods since my first visit at age 8 or so. I understand that there are some risks but I believe in the decency of narly all people so I thing (and hope) all will be fine. They DO have security staff wandering the floor so I'm sure they'll be watching carefully.

I regret that I won't be able to make it there for this show. I just can't be in the cold that Michigan offers at this time of year so I won't be back there until Spring. Oh well. Hopefully they'll do it again - this time in warm weather.

Just because Ford owners are clever about how they get their replacement parts should not be characterized as "tomfoolery" rather I suggest they call it "making their Fords run" ;D
