I lived on the far west side (Milford and later Ann Arbor) so I didn't get over to Gratiot very often. Still, it was great to have them within driving distance and we occasionally made the pilgrimage when we needed bits that they had and Ramcharger's didn't.

I remember goin into the Gratiot store on dort in flint with my dad when I was a kid. They had a T bucket right in the middle of the floor.
