alot of midlife crise guys are in a buy'n mood..
don't need a big v8.. and green was the color of most cars in the early 70's
or least it seemed.. by aunt had a 71 camaro green on green, then a 74 velle green on green
their other car was a 67 impala.. guess what color.. and then a 74 caprice..
the first none green car they had was a 78 monty carlo.. and I think that's because ,Chevy didn't have one on the lot...
also, for those that remember WHY the rally 350 nova came to be..
green is the lowest on the theft and crash list

and that will save you money.. at the insurance counter

Lame attempt by GM at trying to further include themselves in the hip "green movement" would be my guess.
