Re: The Parting Shift: Modified Production Bliss
Bowling Green is my all-time favorite racetrack, and with Mac on the mic, and small cube engines screaming for their lives, this was an incredibly cool video. Thanks for sharing, Bruab!
RonIt's really no different than trying to glue them back on after she has her way.

"In 1973, John Schumacher laid down one of the greatest fuel altered runs of all time with an amazing 6.60 at 218.97 at the U.S. Nationals while racing in Comp Eliminator."
Nope AA/FA were not outlawed, they were relegated to Comp. That which you manifest is before you.

Re: The Parting Shift: Modified Production Bliss
I reallly like M/P cars, before my time but every one I have seen or read about makes smile. I have this idea that I want to build a N/A Drag Week car like a M/P car. A 69 or 70 Mustang notch back with a super high winding small block (boss 302?) a 6 speed, old style snorkel hood scoop and Psychedelic paint job. I am a crappy 4 speed driver and the car would be out gunned in N/A pro street but cool to me....ok back to drinkin beer.

Re: The Parting Shift: Modified Production Bliss
I haven't seen Cotton Perry's car run before but have seen lots of pics of it. I wish the mic had been closer to it. If it's anything like mine it made a heck of a racket. My dyno guy asked (demanded?) that I install mufflers - it was pretty overwhelming in the dyno shop.
