I say we let open-wheel just go ahead and die in the USA, then someone with some sense might pick up the ball and put something sensible together.
Its too bad that the Indianapolis 500 is the 500 lb gorilla for this type of racing and will probably always have a seat at the table. That family can't think its way out of paper bag.
Its no wonder that all the open wheel guys are giving NASCAR a try. They can sense that the ship is just about to go beneath the waves.
