      Most people are happy with a second-gear bark...but no...had to have a second-gear front-end hop... ;D
      Editor-at-Large at...well, here, of course!

"Remy-Z, you've outdone yourself again, I thought a Mirada was the icing on the cake of rodding, but this Imperial is the spread of little 99-cent candy letters spelling out "EAT ME" on top of that cake."

Regarding Mr. Gary Fetters and his white '55 Chevy shown in the series of videos: I got to meet him at Famoso several years ago. Our conversation (my attempting to pick his brain) got interrupted by some Pontiac guy, dammit!

Gary had (has?) hard-copy records for every run and all changes/modifications for that car. Wow!

Some day, I hope to again get to talk to him about what does and doesn't work on a Chevrolet drag car.

'Course, Woodburn is beyond my travel limits...

            You're right, ch1ll...

'Probably didn't have a "crash box" with every other tooth on the gear and sychronizer ring cut off to double the chances of engagement during a power shift.

Sox made 'em sound like a hard-hitting automatic trans.
