I'd clean up the body and shoot it with a subtle flat colour, like indigo or brown, and probably just black out the motor. I'd choose some nicer wheels and tires (I like the pie crust idea or maybe WWWs with baby moons).

Then I'd drive the wheels off of it.

I'd call that as a Ford motor, the distributor is in front and vertical.

A cool ride, I'd make it more period correct after I did some donuts in a parking lot and got a drag racing ticket or two. ;D ;D ;D

I'm also thinking Ford. The ribs on the exhaust manifold are a giveaway. I tried enlarging the photo but its too grainy.
