    Ah, necessity is the mother of invention. Originally developed back in the late 1940s, this popular V8 and I6 conversion was developed and sold by the Funk Aircraft Company out of Coffeeville, KS. (most conversions were done on 8N models). http://www.oldfordtractors.com/funk.htm

    The cool part is that there are a couple companies out there who are still making a V8 conversion for these classic tractors. Check it out: http://www.staufferv8.com/ or http://awesomehenry.com/
