Did some hunting around. That tractor supposedly uses a clutch from an old Comet snowmobile.

Probably a one-off set-up.

2 guys at work are in WAY DEEP in Garden Tractor Pulling..... they have some neat machinery. Most start with stock Cub Cadet stuff (which are direct shaft drive from the factory, by the way) and beef 'em up from there. Dropping in some old Dodge rear end carrier used to be very common, an aftermarket bull-gear setup is the state of the art today.

As with everything, the only limiting factor is your wallet & imagination.
