Yesterday I was watching "How America was Made" or whatever it's called on the History Channel, and it was showing manufacturing, namely Ford's, and talked about how the assembly line brought the price of a new car, Model T, down to about three months worth of wages. Got me thinking what three month's wages would get me car wise, definately a compact econobox :'( I wonder how many week's wages those prices are for the average Joe in 1957.
