    :o absolutely badass! Extra cool factor of being run by a Canuck team.

    Price is real steep but someone will surely pony up the dough. However, what's stopping anyone from building a similar car from a $1500 2nd gen Firebird?! ;D

    About being the first car to have a win on radials, what's the deal with it currently wearing Goodyear slicks? I'm guessing those BFG radial race tires must be impossible to find now.

      That bit about the Chev engines in Pontiacs in the GWN was pulling the wool over the SCCA inspectors' eyes ... Firebirds never got Chev mills from the factory up here, it was only the full and mid size Pontiacs that ever happened with.

      Certainly not $550K cool, maybe $100K IMO.
