The last one is more like what Santa Fe Speedway and Sycamore Speedway in Illinois had. At Sycamore, the rules said "No Modifications". They also said that the starter could run the cars clockwise anytime he felt like it. He knew there was rampant cheating, so he reversed the track. Half the field was on its roof by turn two.
