Aaron Frederick, who's whining in the article lives about three miles across farmland from Great Lakes. He was born in 1970, so the track has been there longer than he has been alive.
Some years back Ron Leek of Byron Dragway fought a similar problem, and won. He proved that those complaining the most couldn't hear the track from their homes, or that the dragstrip was drowned out by a lawnmower down the street.
Want some cheese with that "whine", Mr. Frederick?
