Anything that combines "space camera," "Styrofoam beer cooler," and "duct tape" in the same line is bound to be awesome.

This is similar to what a father and son project acheived recently. Check out Brooklyn Space Project. They used a small camera wrapped in insulation with a couple chemical hand warmers and the GPS from a cell phone. Truly awesome results from very basic design.
