    Those are big mines, probably anti-tank. I wonder if this thing saw service in the Korean DMZ, if so it may have helped keep one Million Chinese and Korean communists north of the 48th parallel.

            Some thought the cheerful tone of the narrator was scary. What I think is scary is how many failed prototypes did they make until they got one that worked and who was stupid enough to be the test driver?

                The testing probably wasn't too difficult, just substitute fake mines that smoke or make noise when they're "set off" until you've got the bugs worked out.
