        Major props to Bill for making it to the Baja 1000 and competing... even if it was short lived. I tried to catch as much of the live video feed of the cars leaving the starting line attentively awaiting Bill's BMW to roll but I guess I missed it.

        Entering the Baja 1000 is on my dream To-Do list but for Bill this is just another chapter - the 24hrs of the Nurburgring sounds like an awesome adventure.

        Best of luck to Caswell and his crew/helpers. I don't think a story or person has recently really captured the "Just get out there and go racing!" attitude to the extent he has. Bitchin' stuff. 8)

          fast thinking and work for serious race.

          I truly doubted the other end of the car, what I call "the rear end tube" in my 80s subaru (nearly identical to the bimmer setup- except the subarus are even bigger, and I broke one)
          as the failing point.. but no, it was the steering end.

          good job anyways, must have been fun..
