Kampy is the man! I have worked at several megabuck race facilities (Heartland Park, zMax, Route 66, US 131, etc), but the allure of Midwest Dragway, just outside of Manhattan, KS has always drawn me in. They have one of the best concession stands I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing and the crew there is the most racer friendly group you would ever want to meet. You have to drive about a mile on a dirt road from the main highway to get to the place, but it is worth it. It's too bad Kampy doesn't have a TNT session, but as far as bracket races go, it is tough to find any better.

Hey man, Numidia is a great little track, but it is NHRA sanctioned. I've been there for Division 1 races and they are still on the schedule. Not that it is a bad thing, just wanted to let you know.

Numidia is a great little track. The Dimino Family has done some great things there over the last few years.
They are having a Ford/Mustang Weekend in 2011...Guess where I'll be?

They have blue birch beer too...Worth the ride alone!
It's a bit creepy towing through Centraila, though....

Sorry, it didn't seem like it was and I've never heard of anything big going on there. There I go assuming things.

I stopped at I-57 dragway and did a little racing on powertour this year. It sorta reminds me of this. Of course I grew up by Bunker hill dragstrip in Indiana and you literally ended up in a cornfield if you couldn't stop in time.
