Yep (except for fuel and other additives that bring their own oxidizers . . . . ;D)

Re: BangShift Question of the Day: Screaming Small Blocks or Bellowing Big Big Blocks?

I've had many small blocks.......the 302 in the
      '69 Z/28 was a frigging screamer.
I could wind the crap out of that thing and was loads
      of fun.

My first big block build was the 427 that I put
in the '70 Nova and it was, as well, a real blast.
I liked the cubes.....even my wife liked it better.

The current 476 (409 bored & stroked) is even a bigger
      blast! Loads of torque.
I guess if the dime stood on edge I opt for the 476.

This is a 64 1/2 Mustang w/ a 289 and 4 speed. Skip to about 3 minutes on the video and hear about 9500 RPM... Sounds awesome!..

I'm going faster for less with a big block. I started out with small blocks but after feeling the effortless torq from a big block I won't go back.

Big blocks took over the lanes over 30 years ago
all my friends had small blocks , so I dared to be different with a big block

How does it go from which you like , big blocks or small blocks to transmissions?
Maybe the question of the day should be if you like screaming small blocks or bellowing big blocks which transmission will survive and why?
