:o Saw it when Blazerteam first posted it. That is incredible that it broke in so many places and yet the rods aren't bent completely up or shattered, etc.Escaped on a technicality. -

I "like" the aluminum rods with high comp pistons applied to a two bolt main block and possibly cast crank.... ???? WHAT WAS THE GUY BUILDING ???? Looks like excessive RPM created enough inertia to seperate the rotating assembly from it's WIMPY WIMPY WIMPY saddle. JMHOComment

Looks like a lot of money tied up in a 2 bolt stock block. the stock blocks have a habit of cracking between the main journal and cam journal and main bolts when you pump them 450 plus.on the flip side I have a friend who is running low 10s in the quarter with a stock block and has 150 passes on nitrous without a problem. I have torn apart a couple of race 302s with stock block that were cracked on the top side of the cam journal from front to back.It's a Tri-Power Inline six [email protected] in the 1/8thComment
