Brian, thanks again for posting the shot of the junk heap, and for your always great narrative to go along with it! So glad to contribute the photo.
But I'm still puzzled - there's something written in white paint across what little remains of the rear bumper. What IS that? Do we have forensic experts here who can make that out?
