Hope he sticks to relevant & pertinent car junkie & gear head topics of interest in the future.

If the author had introduced himself, or even "lurked" for awhile, Id like to believe he would not selected
that novel for an excerpt for this community. You'd have to be unfamiliar with our "zeitgeist" to do so, as
the selected offering was 180-degrees out & away from the standards that had served this website well
from its formation.

"Hey, let's go over to www.bangshift.com and re-fight the Civil War with other boardmembers!!" <----NOT

The article would fit right in @ the Daily Kos & the Huffington Post. They'd love it, & maybe even buy his novel.


But not here, please...BangShift's prohibition on inflammatory divisive political threads has kept us unified.
