The guy was on the tree wasn't he, the wheels were up in the air before the Green light came but then it appeared the car in the other lane caught him about the halfway point, what we don't know is if the other car redlighted? Doug Lambeck is the son of Bob Lambeck a noted 57 Chevy Racer from way back when, Bob drove for Dick Landy and then went on to field a successful Pro Stock Duster of his own for a few years.

His Dad used to do that with his Pro Stock Duster ( one of the sharpest cars of the day ) and it DID have a 4 speed !
