Re: Does staggered jetting a Holley Carb really work?
It seems like this kind of change would be even greater on an engine with equally spaced ports and a single carb like a converted LS or a Ford. Stock Eliminator guys would would kill for 5 horse across the power band at 500 HP.Drag Week 2006 & 2012 - Winner Street Race Big Block Naturally Aspirated - R/U 2007 Broke DW '05 and Drag Weekend '15 Coincidence?

if the msd programmable can be altered per cylinder...
brut of real draft and less gadgets in modern day can still be a win.Previously boxer3main

Re: Does staggered jetting a Holley Carb really work?
Ray Barton shared with us bangshifters that on his dual quad superstock engines, to achieve cylinder-to-cylinder AFR balance it was common to have a spread of 15 jet sizes or more, between smallest and largest.
in tuning that pro stock Hemi with the FAST XFI system, we learned that there was as much as a THIRTY FIVE PERCENT spread in fuel demand between individual cylinders. We had cylinders in the 10s AFR, and also in the 15s...!!! but on a single O2 sensor it showed a "happy 12.5:1 average"
From my limited, amateur experiences: the more aggressive your cam profile and build, the more you need to observe AFRs in each cylinder.www.realtuners.com - catch the RealTuners Radio Podcast on Youtube, Facebook, iTunes, and anywhere else podcasts are distributed!
