Somewhere I remember seeing a pic of Roger hauling ass past the grandstands with a pack of anxious sportscar drivers behind him. It's a classic shot.

This race is just one of the many humilations sporty-car types suffered at the hands of hot rodders like Duffy Livingston driving "The Eliminator", or any of Max Balchowsky's "Old Yeller" racers.
